Language

There are several reasons you may want to change the language file, so far there is not much to offer as there are only a couple of messages however, we provide lots of choice when it comes to changing them!

  1. Changing the detection message Only for Bold Mode

    Available placeholders:

    • %message% - The message the player sent which flagged.

Here is an example of the detection message over one line

    chat:
    bold:
    # This is the message that will appear when a user has been detected for
    # using inappropriate language. ONLY WHILE USING BOLD MODE
detected: "&cYour message has been detected as inappropriate. Please refrain from using inappropriate language."

However along with all of our configuration, you can also use multi line messages using this format:

    chat:
    bold:
    # This is the message that will appear when a user has been detected for
    # using inappropriate language. ONLY WHILE USING BOLD MODE
    detected: |
    &7
    &#FF0000MESSAGE BLOCKED
&7You message has been &#FF0000&nBLOCKED&7 because it is inappropriate.
    &7
  2. Changing the Staff Notification message

The format found for the detection message also applies here.

    Available placeholders:

    • %prefix% - Player’s Luckperms prefix
    • %player% - Player’s display name
    • %uuid% - Player’s uuid
    • %message% - The full message that was flagged.
    • %mode% - The detection mode from the config.
    staff:
    # This is the message that staff will see when a user has flagged.
    # This message will be sent to the staff chat.
    notify: |
    &#FF0000&lCHAT VIOLATION
    &#FF0000Player: &f%prefix%%player% &7(%uuid%)
    &#FF0000Message: &f%message%
    &#FF0000Flag: &f%flag% &7(%flagid%)
    &#FF0000Detection Mode: &f%mode%
  3. Changing the Staff Action Taken message

This message is slightly more complicated but still relativley simple. In this snippet you can see that there is a prompt option, note that this refers back to the staff notification message and it the button you will click to trigger the action taken method.

    Available placeholders:

    • %staff-prefix% - The luckperms prefix relative to the staff member who issued the action
    • %staff% - The display name of the staff member who issued the action
    • %prefix% - The luckperms prefix of the player who flagged
    • %player% - The display name of the player who flagged
    click:
    # This is the message that will appear when a staff member clicks on a message
    # that has been detected as inappropriate.
    prompt: " &7[Click to Mute]"
    muted: |
    &#FF0000&lACTION TAKEN
    &f%staff-prefix%%staff% &7has muted &f%prefix%%player% &7for &#FF0000&n3 Hours&7 &7for &#FF0000&nChat Violation.
    &#FF0000[No Further Action Required]
